Procurement Lead – Digital & Energy Solutions

Salary: Up to £90,000 + £6,100 Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Location: UK wide – Site travel expected upon occasion, mostly London.

A major UK services and infrastructure organisation is looking to appoint a senior procurement leader to support its growing Digital and Energy division.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer and joining the Procurement Leadership Team, you will lead a team of five and take ownership of procurement performance across a portfolio of energy, digital technology, and infrastructure-led services.

This is a highly visible role, partnering with senior Finance, Commercial, and Operational stakeholders to deliver financial value, strengthen the supply chain, and support the continued growth of the division.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the procurement strategy and operating model for the division.
  • Own the delivery of annual savings, commercial benefits, and wider procurement performance targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of five procurement professionals.
  • Support bids, mobilisations, and growth opportunities through competitive supply-chain solutions.
  • Strengthen supplier relationships, governance, innovation, and sustainability across complex technical categories.

Key Skills:

  • Significant senior-level procurement experience, including leadership and development of a procurement team.
  • Knowledge of the UK energy or renewables market, ideally including solar, wind, battery storage, or associated capital infrastructure.
  • Experience managing complex engineering, technical, construction, or project-based supply chains.
  • Strong commercial, contractual, and senior stakeholder management capability.
  • A commercially minded and visible leader with a strong track record of delivering savings, change, and operational value.
