Role Description

The Procurement & Logistics Co-ordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Aberdeen. This position is responsible for managing procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials. The role involves coordinating logistics for offshore and subsea operations, organizing transportation, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and client requirements. The Co-ordinator will liaise with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve supply issues, track shipments, and maintain accurate documentation. Day-to-day tasks also include monitoring costs, updating procurement and logistics records, and supporting continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.

  • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, track procurement performance, and support decision-making.
  • Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Solid Customer Service skills to respond promptly to internal stakeholder needs and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Inventory Management skills to monitor stock levels, manage reorder points, and maintain accurate records.
  • Supply Chain Management skills to coordinate sourcing, logistics, and delivery processes across multiple locations.
  • Relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or operations coordination, ideally within marine, offshore, or engineering environments.
  • Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems and standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, email).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
  • Vocational or academic qualification in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field is advantageous.
