Role: Procurement Manager

Location: York (Hybrid working, 2 days a week in the office)

Salary: £56,500 + Bonus

As Benenden Health continues to grow and evolve, we're looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to help shape the strategic decisions, supplier relationships, and commercial outcomes that will support our future ambitions.

This isn't a transactional purchasing role. You'll work across a diverse range of categories, partnering with stakeholders at every level of the organisation, including senior leaders, to deliver procurement solutions that drive value, manage risk, and support business growth.

With exposure across the organisation, you'll lead complex procurement activity, influence key decisions, and provide expert commercial advice throughout the sourcing lifecycle. Working closely with our Commercial Solicitors, you'll negotiate supplier agreements, develop robust contracts, and help ensure the best outcomes for the business and our members.

If you're looking for a role where procurement is recognised as a strategic partner and where your expertise can make a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activity across a broad range of spend categories.
  • Partner with stakeholders and senior leaders to deliver commercially focused solutions.
  • Develop sourcing strategies that maximise value, manage risk, and support business objectives.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and work closely with Legal colleagues to develop robust contracts.
  • Provide expert advice on market analysis, supplier selection, tender processes, and contract management.
  • Deliver measurable savings, efficiencies, and wider commercial benefits for the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
