Term: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Runcorn

Hours of Employment: 08:30 to 16:50, Monday to Friday

Salary: £55,000 per annum plus 10% discretionary bonus and car allowance

Description of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement across our UK operations while supporting our growing US business. This is a leadership role responsible for developing procurement strategy, managing key supplier relationships, and ensuring the business achieves the best possible value, quality, and service.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will lead strategic sourcing, negotiate major supplier agreements, identify commercial opportunities, and continuously improve procurement performance as the business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver ReAgent's procurement strategy.
  • Lead strategic sourcing, tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier selection.
  • Build long-term supplier relationships and negotiate key commercial agreements.
  • Identify cost reduction, cost avoidance, and value improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance, risk, and compliance.
  • Support procurement activity across our UK and US operations.
  • Improve procurement processes, systems, and ways of working.

Skills And Experience

  • Minimum seven years' procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing / chemicals.
  • Experience developing procurement strategy.
  • Proven success delivering strategic sourcing and commercial savings.
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Proven experience of managing and developing people.
  • Able to influence senior stakeholders and work across multiple departments.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, SAGE, and Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to travel in the UK and occasionally overseas; Full UK driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

  • CIPS qualification or equivalent strategic procurement experience.
