Procurement Manager
📍 UK | Hybrid Working 💼 Permanent (UK or Ireland)
A leading global biopharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join its growing procurement team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded procurement professional to lead sourcing and supplier management activities across a range of indirect spend categories, with particular focus on professional services and contingent workforce solutions.
About the Role:
You will partner with key stakeholders across the business to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and deliver measurable value through effective procurement practices. This role offers significant exposure across the organisation and the opportunity to influence procurement strategy within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies across indirect spend categories.
- Lead supplier sourcing, selection, negotiations, and contract management activities.
- Manage procurement projects relating to professional services and contingent labour providers.
- Drive supplier performance, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Support procurement governance and ensure compliance with internal policies and processes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.

Requirements:
- Proven experience within indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
- Previous responsibility for professional services and/or contingent workforce spend.
- Strong supplier relationship management and contract negotiation skills.
- Experience delivering cost savings and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
- Degree qualified or relevant procurement qualification preferred (CIPS advantageous).
- Experience in Life Science domain would be advantageous.
