Procurement Lead – Marketing
Location: London
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + 15% Bonus
I’m currently recruiting for an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead Marketing procurement across Europe for a global business.
Role Overview
This is a broad Marketing Procurement role, taking responsibility for categories including:
- Media
- Creative & Agency Services
- PR
- Events & Activations
- Brand Campaigns
- MarTech
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing activity across a broad portfolio of Marketing spend.
- Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with both European requirements and global procurement objectives.
- Lead supplier selection, competitive tendering, negotiation, and contracting.
- Manage strategic agency and supplier relationships, including performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Legal stakeholders.
- Analyse spend and identify opportunities for cost reduction, value creation, and improved commercial outcomes.
- Provide insight into the European Marketing supplier landscape and leverage global procurement frameworks where appropriate.
- Support the continued development of procurement capability across the European business.

About You
- Strong Indirect Procurement experience, ideally gained within a large, complex, and international organisation.
- Demonstrable Marketing Procurement expertise, with experience across multiple areas of Marketing spend.
- Strong knowledge of Media and Agency procurement in particular.
- Proven experience leading complex sourcing and commercial negotiations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence within a global, matrix environment.
- Experience within retail, consumer, or similarly fast-paced organisations would be advantageous.
- Comfortable operating across European and global supplier markets.
