We now have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager - Facilities Management to join our Procurement team, supporting the delivery of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial excellence across one of the UK's largest healthcare property portfolios.
About the Role
As a Procurement Manager - Facilities Management, you will play a critical role in delivering value, compliance, and innovation across Facilities Management (FM) procurement activities. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll lead strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and provide expert procurement guidance that supports the delivery of high-quality services across the NHS estate. This is an exciting opportunity to act as a trusted advisor within a national organisation, influencing procurement strategy, delivering commercial value, and ensuring compliance with procurement legislation and industry best practice.
Who You Are
You're an experienced procurement professional with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of leading strategic sourcing and procurement projects. You enjoy building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and delivering innovative procurement solutions that provide value for money while supporting organisational objectives. You are proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are confident working with senior stakeholders and are comfortable challenging, influencing, and driving commercially sound decision-making across a complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic procurement activity across the FM category, delivering sourcing strategies, complex tendering exercises, commercial negotiations, and supplier management initiatives that drive value and support organisational objectives.
- Support the development and execution of Procurement Category Strategies.
- Act as a trusted procurement advisor, providing commercial guidance and market intelligence to stakeholders.
- Manage and develop supplier relationships, ensuring performance, compliance, and value delivery.
- Lead high-value and complex procurement projects from initiation through to implementation.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement programmes across the FM category.
- Manage procurement pipelines, contract databases, and procurement reporting.
- Support business case development through procurement data, analysis, and commercial insight.
- Resolve supplier performance issues and act as an escalation point for commercial matters.
- Mentor and support junior members of the Procurement team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a procurement function.
- Proven experience leading procurement projects and strategic sourcing activities.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain best practice.
- Experience within FM procurement or a related category.
- Knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations (PCR 2015), Procurement Act 2023, and contract management principles.
- Experience using eSourcing platforms and procurement systems.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- CIPS qualified, working towards a professional qualification, or willing to obtain accreditation.
Where you’ll be
This is a 12-month FTC role, offering hybrid working based at your closest hub, with a salary from £60,000 per annum, plus car allowance and bonus.
