Job Description

We are a multicultural internally based team of Procurement professionals, managing a worldwide portfolio of suppliers, combining technical, commercial and business expertise and constantly dealing with people, internally through multi-functional teams and externally with suppliers.
Joining the team as Procurement Manager - Aluminium Products offers you an opportunity to develop procurement skills in a motivating, challenging, innovating and creative technical context whilst working in a multifunctional manner with key stakeholders.
You will develop end-to-end business solutions directly influencing Airbus cost & EBIT contribution, looking at the big picture for your perimeter, and collaborate with suppliers based all over the world to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation to our customers.
Tasks and Accountabilities
- Management of strategic aluminium raw material markets & suppliers and their contracts, focusing on the Extrusions perimeter
- Lead “Call for Tender” work packages and provide the best purchasing conditions for Airbus Group & enabled suppliers under your responsibility and committing the Company by achieving the signature of contractual agreements
- Alignment across the different Company functions (mainly Programmes, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering) for purchased products
- Ensure professional and trusting supplier relationship management with major aeronautical industry players and uphold the Company ethics and compliance standards in all your dealings
- Shape and deliver Multi Functional Team (MFT) projects on Time, Cost and Quality either defined under your leadership in the MFT or by delegation from the MFT leader
- Focal point for the enablement of aluminium raw material across the complete Procurement function: from business case generation to deployment

Skills and Experience
- Degree level in Engineering or Business
- Experience in Sales, Programmes, Engineering, Procurement Operations, Customer Services or Legal with efficient project management is a plus
- Effective contract and international negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness
- Experience in supplier relationship Management and Procurement, or other equivalent experience in managing outside stakeholder
- Good technical understanding of Aircraft systems is a plus
- Negotiation level of English is required
- High level of international communication skills
- Display authentic leadership behaviour and values that people and teams want to follow
- Creative, proactive in challenging status quo through your ability to propose new ways of working
