At Fora, we're looking for a Category Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio spanning IT, Marketing, and Operational Spend. This is an exciting opportunity to shape category strategies, lead high-value sourcing projects, negotiate with market-leading suppliers, and help drive innovation across a fast-growing business.
The Role
This role is 4 days in the office and 1 day WFA.
Shape Procurement Strategy
- Develop and deliver end-to-end sourcing strategies across multiple categories.
- Build and maintain market intelligence, supplier insights, and industry best practices.
- Create and implement long-term category plans aligned to business objectives.
- Contribute to procurement roadmaps, contract renewal plans, and future sourcing opportunities.
Lead Commercial Negotiations
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from business requirements gathering through to contract award.
- Run RFIs, RFPs, tender processes, and supplier evaluations.
- Analyse commercial proposals, market trends, and financial data to identify the best solutions.
- Negotiate contracts that maximise value, reduce costs, and minimise risk.

Influence Senior Stakeholders
- Partner with teams across Property, Design, Delivery, Operations, Marketing, IT, and Finance.
- Present recommendations and business cases to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Drive decision-making and deliver procurement best practices throughout the organisation.
Deliver Financial Impact
- Identify and realise cost-saving opportunities across your portfolio.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities through market insight and commercial expertise.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure procurement delivers against financial targets.
Manage Suppliers & Contracts
- Establish strong partnerships with key suppliers.
- Ensure robust contracts are in place and effectively managed.
- Proactively manage supplier performance, risk, and contract renewals.
- Maintain accurate contract records and governance controls.
Champion ESG & Responsible Procurement
- Embed sustainability, diversity, and ESG principles into sourcing decisions.
- Work with suppliers to deliver responsible and ethical procurement outcomes.
- Support Fora's commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

What We're Looking For
- Proven procurement and category management experience.
- Experience across one or more categories: IT, Marketing, or Operational Spend.
- Strong commercial analysis and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing tenders, supplier relationships, and contracts.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project and change management capabilities.
- CIPS or RICS qualification.
- Experience of using Power BI and advanced Excel.
- Hospitality, Property, Operations, or Facilities Management sector experience.
