We are currently looking for a Procurement Manager who will work in the Commercial Services Enabling Function in our Infrastructure and Highways Team to lead and develop the project procurement function, including the implementation of the project procurement strategy to successfully procure the relevant trade contract packages, goods and services, to meet the needs of the project or bid.

As The Procurement Manager, You Will

  • Implement the project procurement strategy.
  • Management of full tender process to achieve best value procurement solution.
  • Undertaking procurement activity in accordance with both "Skanska operational procurement - The way of working" and our contractual requirements.
  • Management of project stakeholders to maintain and seek to improve upon procurement and construction programmes.
  • To support the implementation of ERP on the scheme.
  • Support and maintain collaborative relationships with strategic suppliers and subcontractors.

We Are Looking For

  • Experience of procurement and supply chain management.
  • Product knowledge of materials and plant and subcontracts.
  • Construction / Site based experience.
  • Working knowledge of Main Contract T& Cs including NEC.
  • Confidence to negotiate competitively and effectively.
