Procurement Manager
Birmingham | £60,000 + Benefits | Exclusive Opportunity
An opportunity to shape and elevate procurement within a large, complex organisation undergoing significant change and investment.
I'm exclusively partnering with a well-established organisation seeking a commercially minded Procurement Manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening procurement capability, embedding governance, and driving greater value across a diverse spend portfolio.
Managing approximately £200m of spend and a broad supplier base, you'll lead procurement activity across a mix of operational and corporate categories, delivering strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance improvements, robust contract management and Procurement Act 2023 compliance.
This is a highly visible role with genuine influence across the business. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to develop procurement best practice, improve commercial outcomes and create a more mature, compliant procurement function capable of supporting future business objectives.

What We're Looking For
- Strong working knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023
- Recent public sector procurement experience
- Experience leading end-to-end tenders and sourcing exercises
- Strong supplier and contract management capability
- Experience across direct, indirect or mixed category environments
- Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills
- MRO, engineering, manufacturing or other asset-intensive sector experience would be advantageous
- Previous leadership or people management experience is desirable
