Procurement Manager

We are seeking a proactive Procurement Manager who will be responsible for all procurement activity across the organisation. The successful Procurement Manager will provide trusted assurance to senior leaders, strengthen contract management and governance, and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Procurement Manager - Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all end-to-end procurement activity across the organisation, ensuring full compliance with procurement legislation, internal policies, and governance requirements
  • Act as the subject matter expert on UK procurement regulations, embedding changes from new legislation into organisational practice and providing authoritative advice to senior leaders
  • Develop and manage the multi-year procurement plan, ensuring procurement activity aligns with strategic priorities, budgets, and value-for-money objectives
  • Provide assurance on contract management and controls, maintaining oversight of the contracts register, extensions, variations, and performance monitoring
  • Build strong senior stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted business partner and challenging teams to plan and deliver compliant, effective procurements
  • Produce procurement reporting and support internal and external audits, driving continuous improvement in procurement processes, controls, and compliance

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex procurement exercises and provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders
  • MCIPS (or working towards) or equivalent professional qualification
