Oliver James is searching on behalf of a leading Lloyd's insurance client to source a Procurement Manager to join the business to assist in the design, build out, and implementation of a global procurement function.

This role will work closely with the Head of Procurement to contribute to strategic vendor & commercial management, category & commercial strategy, procurement capability build, and stakeholder engagement.

The role will have a strong focus on technology and data categories due to the large spend area.

Ideal candidates will have experience with the following

  • Working on technology and data categories
  • Experience working within Insurance companies or complex regulated financial services
  • Experience in global procurement functions
  • Preferable for experience in greenfield projects
  • Diverse experience across multiple areas including vendor management, sourcing, contract renewal / negotiation, and procurement capability build.
  • CIPS qualifications preferred but not required
