Key Responsibilities
- Enforce policy compliance ensuring the Company’s rules are designed to protect the Company from legal challenges, as well as to obtain the best possible combination of price, quality and service.
- Ensure the procurement team is following set guidelines, conduct periodic reviews of employees and systems. Report cases of non-compliance to the appropriate level within the Company.
- Coordinate purchasing activities across projects.
- Evaluate a department's operational efficiency based on turn-around time, quantity and total value of purchases, customer service and total amount of money saved.
- Oversee, develop and implement processes for procurement risk assessments and mitigations.
- Responsible for ensuring the procurement function acts within local, regional, national and international legal requirements and standards.
- Keep records in line with legal requirements and support policy objectives.
- Identify key suppliers and methods for engaging and developing these supply chain relationships.
- Develop processes for the type of supplier contract used.
- Oversee and demonstrate that three-way matching is in place for most purchases ensuring best value throughout the life cycle of the project / installation.
- Ensuring agreed set of terms and conditions are in place and understood between the Company and supply chain partners.
- Develop, record, measure and review key performance indicators (KPIs) for purchases / suppliers which can be monitored over the lifetime of a contract and including quality, time and cost, with level of value added for the company.
- Produce Management Information (MI) to the senior leadership team.
- Source and evaluate different suppliers / supply chain partners to continually improve overall effectiveness and delivery.
- Ensure clarity of specification within all purchase orders placed between the company and supply chain partners.
- Develop processes, policies and procurement strategies and objectives.
- Ensure the Company’s procurement processes, procedures and guides are regularly reviewed for effectiveness and communicated to all relevant parties.
- Consult with key stakeholders in the development of procurement policies and procedures. Maintain good internal working relationships.
- Establish, and manage, a preferred supply chain including rating the performance of suppliers.

- Hold CIPS membership or working towards.
- Ability to use SAP/Asite to a high standard.
- Previous experience within a Procurement Management position.
- Previous experience within an M&E contractor.
- Proven experience managing MEP supply chains.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to balance the interest of the customer with the interests of the business.
