The Procurement Manager, Beverage Ingredients
The Procurement Manager, Beverage Ingredients is an exciting opportunity to shape the ingredients behind some of Costa’s most-loved drinks, from core favourites and seasonal creations to new functional beverages. You’ll lead the sourcing and supplier strategy for syrups, sauces and powders, combining commercial insight, strong supplier partnerships and commodity expertise to deliver quality, value and supply resilience. Collaborating across Product Development, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and Legal, you’ll also help turn new beverage ideas into commercially successful products for customers across the UK and selected international markets.

What you’ll do
Being a Procurement Manager, Beverage Ingredients is about so much more than sourcing ingredients. It’s your chance to shape the flavours behind Costa’s most-loved drinks, build strategic supplier partnerships, drive commercial value and innovation, and ensure millions of customers enjoy exceptional beverage experiences every day. Which means you’ll:
- Lead the sourcing strategy for beverage ingredients, including syrups, sauces, powders and emerging functional drinks, ensuring quality, value and supply resilience.
- Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships across the UK and Europe, driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Deliver commercial value through supplier negotiations, contract management, commodity risk management and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Partner with Product Development, Supply Chain, Operations and Commercial teams to support new product launches and bring innovative beverages to market.
- Use market insights, supplier expertise and category knowledge to identify opportunities, manage risk and shape the future of Costa's beverage offering.

Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
- Proven procurement experience within food, beverage or ingredients categories, with strong commercial and supplier management expertise.
- Strong understanding of category sourcing, supply chains, commodity markets and the key drivers of cost, quality and risk.
- Track record of delivering value through supplier negotiations, contract management and strategic sourcing in a complex business environment.
- Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, while working collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Commercially minded and analytical, with experience supporting new product development and bringing innovative products successfully to market.
Where you’ll work
Right now, our Support Centre teams work flexibly, blending home working with in-person time whenever it matters most – whether that’s a team moment, a creative session, or simply coming together to share ideas.
We’re excited to be moving into a new home for our brand in St Albans in January 2027 – an inspiring space from which our Support Centre teams will work three days a week to connect and collaborate in-person to bring our bold ambition to life.
