Procurement Manager – AI Infrastructure & Data Centres

Location: UK

Our client is an AI infrastructure business seeking a Procurement Manager to support the sourcing and purchasing of equipment and services for its infrastructure deployments. This is a hands-on procurement role, focused on strategic sourcing, supplier selection, commercial negotiation and purchasing execution. You will work closely with engineering, project delivery and finance teams to ensure procurement decisions meet technical requirements, budgets and deployment timelines.

The role

  • Manage the procurement process from requirements gathering and supplier identification through to tendering, negotiation, contract award and purchase orders.
  • Source equipment and services across compute, networking and data centre infrastructure, working with technical teams to define specifications.
  • Run RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, evaluating suppliers on cost, quality, lead times, capability and commercial terms.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties and contractual commitments with OEMs, distributors and service providers.
  • Build supplier relationships and manage performance against agreed delivery schedules and contractual obligations.
  • Align procurement activity with project milestones, identifying long-lead items and escalating supply risks early.
  • Track purchasing commitments, cost savings and supplier performance, providing clear reporting to internal stakeholders.
  • Strengthen procurement processes, approval controls and supplier onboarding as the business grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
