Multiple Direct Procurement Opportunities – FMCG - Surrey - £60,000 – £95,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Package
I’m currently partnering with a leading FMCG organisation that is going through a significant transformation of its Procurement function. As part of this growth, they are making multiple hires across Direct Procurement at different levels.
It’s a particularly exciting time to join the business. Procurement is receiving significant investment and senior-level backing, with a strong leadership team focused on developing the function, improving capability and creating a more strategic, data-led approach to procurement.
The business is also investing heavily in technology and AI, with a clear ambition to use data, digital tools and AI to improve sourcing, supplier management and commercial decision-making.
The roles will manage strategically important spend across food commodities, ingredients and raw materials, giving you exposure to complex global supplier markets and categories that have a direct impact on the performance of the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
