📍 Location: Watford

💷 Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

⏰ Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm fully office based

Our client is seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to lead and innovate their procurement function within the manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on supply chain performance, cost control, and operational efficiency.

As the Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies and policies that align with business needs.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and optimal service levels.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality standards and performance are met.
  • Oversee inventory management, maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting service excellence.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives and prepare procurement reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to forecast purchasing needs and align with the Operations Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing standards.

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP, MRP, or stock control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
