Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Manager / Senior Buyer role based in Luton. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of goods ensuring that our organisation maintains optimal cost efficiency and supplier relationships. Your expertise will help streamline procurement processes and support our overall business objectives.

The Procurement Manager / Senior Buyer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to forecast demand, manage purchase orders, and optimize inventory levels. The role also involves maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.

Skills
- Candidates should possess strong procurement skills, including experience with M&E purchasing and supply chain coordination.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure advantageous terms while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
- Good knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain operations to optimize procurement workflows.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and negotiating with vendors.
- Experience in MEP, construction, or building services procurement.
