Procurement Manager
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain functions for our construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring materials, equipment, and subcontracted services are procured on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong negotiation skills with deep knowledge of construction materials, supplier markets, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements
- Monitor material pricing trends and market conditions to anticipate cost fluctuations
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to forecast material and equipment needs
- Track deliveries and resolve supply chain issues to prevent project delays
- Maintain accurate procurement records, budgets, and vendor performance data
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project timelines
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage a team of buyers/procurement coordinators (if applicable)
- Prepare and process purchase orders for construction materials and services based on approved requisitions using the Business Central ERP system.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of procurement experience in construction, engineering, or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor markets
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience with procurement/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Procore, Oracle)
- Solid understanding of contracts, purchase orders, and supply chain logistics
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (CPSM, CPM, or similar)
- Experience with large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with sustainable/green building material sourcing
- Working knowledge of construction contract law and risk management
