Procurement Manager Location: Royston, On-site Salary: £40,000–£45,000 + Share Options

The Opportunity

We’re working with an innovative and fast-growing technology business that is scaling its manufacturing operations following significant investment and increased customer demand.

They are looking for a Procurement Manager to take ownership of procurement and supply chain activities as the business continues to grow. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to build and improve processes, strengthen supplier relationships and directly support the company’s manufacturing operation.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented completer-finisher who is equally comfortable managing day-to-day purchasing activity and implementing new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust purchasing system covering quotations, purchase orders, goods receipt, inspection, invoice reconciliation and stock management.
  • Introduce more efficient, demand-driven purchasing and replenishment processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships, procurement risk and commercial negotiations.
  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives and identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency.
  • Own stock replenishment and ensure materials are available to support manufacturing.
  • Monitor key procurement metrics, including costs, inventory levels, cash flow and supplier performance.
  • Work closely with Finance to maintain accurate procurement data and forecasts.
  • Manage third-party logistics activities.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Operations to ensure materials are available in line with production requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
