About You

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer, who will work with our Procurement Manager, to undertake a wide variety of procurement activity across SHG. You will contribute to the delivery of our Mission and Aims, where the customer is at the heart of everything we do.
This role provides the opportunity to shape and embed processes, coming up with new ideas and creative solutions. You will be working with a range of stakeholders across the business to ensure SHG is compliant with legislative requirements as well as focussed on delivering value and high-quality outcomes for our customers.
You will have a sound understanding of the public procurement requirements, and how these affect SHG. You will be able to develop and deliver procurement projects and get key stakeholders on board, working together in a collaborative way. This will require great organisational, project management and influencing skills!

This is a full-time position (37 hours over 5 days) but if you would like to discuss an alternate working pattern, then please let us know as part of your application. We are open to supporting people to work in a way that suits their own work / life balance and other commitments you may have.
As this is a hybrid role, the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office for a minimum of two days per week. Please include confirmation in your supporting statement that this working pattern is suitable for you.
