12 Month FTC Leeds (Hybrid – Full or Part Time Working Pattern Considered)

We are looking for a highly organised Procurement Officer to support procurement and contract management activity across a complex and fast paced organisation.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring supplier engagement, contract governance and procurement processes are delivered consistently and effectively. You will work with stakeholders across the business, supporting procurement activity from planning and due diligence through to contract administration and ongoing contract management.

The Role

You will provide day to day support across procurement and contract management activities, helping ensure processes are followed, records are maintained and stakeholders receive a high level of support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining procurement and contract management systems and records.
  • Supporting procurement exercises and supplier engagement activity.
  • Assisting contract owners with renewals, extensions and new procurement activity.
  • Maintaining contract registers and associated documentation.
  • Supporting supplier due diligence processes and governance requirements.
  • Providing reporting and management information where required.
  • Supporting colleagues across the business with procurement policies, processes and best practice.
  • Assisting wider business operations and resilience activities as required.

About You

You will be a proactive and organised professional who enjoys working across multiple priorities and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience within a business support, procurement support or contract administration role.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive and delivery focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
  • A high level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to procurement and contract management processes.
  • Experience working with document management or contract management systems.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement environments.
  • Experience supporting regulated, technology or professional services organisations.
