Procurement Operations Analyst

Location: London

Role Type: Contract - 3 months

Work Setup: Once a week in office or fully remote

Salary: £104/day with holiday pay

Who You Will Work With

Our client is a global (re)insurance specialist with over a century of experience, supporting businesses with complex risks across multiple regions. Known for deep sector expertise and strong underwriting, the company delivers solutions in Property, Casualty, Marine, Crisis Management, Natural Resources, and Reinsurance.

What you'll do:

  • Provide comprehensive support to end users on the Oracle P2P system.
  • Review purchase requisitions for completeness and compliance while collaborating with accounts payable and suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Create and issue purchase orders within agreed service levels.
  • Manage supplier onboarding and due diligence checks while maintaining accurate supplier data and payment terms.
  • Execute and analyse Oracle reports to support decision-making.
  • Monitor contract compliance and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement operations and review quarterly non-compliance data collection

What you bring:

  • Experience in procurement operations or purchasing functions.
  • Knowledge of Purchase Order processes and lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in Oracle P2P and procurement systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise competing tasks.
