£34,000 to £40,000 + up to 6% bonus Location - Warwick

Location requirement: Candidate must be located within reasonable commutable distance to the Warwick office.

Working pattern: 5-days, Monday – Friday. Hybrid working with a minimum of 3-days in the office.

About The Role

As a Procurement Operations Analyst, where you'll be the driving force behind the smooth day-to-day running of procurement operations. From supporting colleagues and managing supplier onboarding to maintaining systems and delivering insightful reporting, you'll play a key role in helping the business buy efficiently, compliantly and effectively.

Procurement plays a critical role in helping the business operate efficiently, compliantly and cost effectively. As Procurement Operations Analyst, you'll be at the heart of the function, ensuring colleagues receive timely support, systems are maintained effectively, and supplier processes are managed to a high standard.

By managing day-to-day operational activities and resolving procurement-related queries, you'll enable Category and Project teams to focus on delivering strategic value while helping to improve the overall experience for stakeholders across the business. You'll also have the opportunity to identify improvements and contribute to the ongoing evolution of procurement processes and systems.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for procurement-related queries through the Procurement Helpdesk.
  • Coordinating the end-to-end supplier onboarding process and carrying out supplier assurance checks.
  • Supporting colleagues with procurement systems, processes and purchasing-related queries.
  • Administering procurement platforms including SAP Ariba and Coupa, managing users, permissions and system-related requests.
  • Producing planned and ad hoc reports, dashboards and data analysis to support procurement activities.
  • Maintaining buying channels, catalogues and procurement guidance to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
  • Monitoring compliance with procurement policies and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

You'll be a customer-focused and organised individual who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. You will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities and a genuine interest in developing your procurement knowledge and expertise.

Essential

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing deadlines and deliver results to agreed timescales.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, interpret and report on data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using business systems and technology to support operational processes.
  • A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a Procurement or Supply Chain environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and e-procurement platforms (SAP, Coupa) and systems as well as policies and procedures.
  • Experience producing procurement reports, dashboards and management information.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
  • A strong interest in developing a long-term career within Procurement.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and/or Power Query.
