Interim Procurement Partners – Procurement Transformation
Leeds | Up to £400 per day | OUTSIDE IR35 | Initial 6-month contract duration
We are currently looking for two experienced Interim Procurement Partners to join a major Procurement Transformation Programme at an exciting point in its journey.
These are genuine delivery-focused interim opportunities for procurement professionals who enjoy getting things done, working with stakeholders and suppliers, and making a visible impact.
Both positions are OUTSIDE IR35.
The organisation is approximately nine months into a three-year Procurement Transformation Programme, with a significant pipeline of change and improvement activity ahead. The procurement function is undergoing substantial transformation, with a focus on improving spend management, supplier data, governance, category management and the overall procurement operating model.
With approximately £100m of spend across 750 suppliers, there is significant scope for these roles to make an immediate impact.
Role 1 – Interim Procurement Partner | IT & Projects
The first role will focus on providing additional procurement support across a substantial pipeline of IT and transformation projects.
You will be a hands-on procurement lead, taking projects from requirements through to RFP, supplier selection, negotiation and contract completion.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading RFP and tender processes.
- Managing commercial and supplier negotiations.
- Drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Supporting IT and transformation projects.
- Procuring SaaS, software and digital services.
- Supporting the organisation's digital pathway plan.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Providing procurement expertise across IT and selected non-IT categories.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
