Procurement Planning Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity to join a leading luxury house in a newly created role responsible for bringing greater planning, structure, and visibility to the procurement function. The Procurement Planning Manager will own the procedural and analytical side of procurement, creating a clear framework for understanding what is required, when it is required, what has been ordered, what is outstanding, and where priorities need to be focused. Working closely with Procurement, Merchandising, and specialist teams across the business, this individual will provide the planning and control layer behind the day-to-day procurement activity, ensuring requirements are effectively planned, prioritized, monitored, and reported. This is not a hands-on buying or product specialist role. It would particularly suit someone from a luxury merchandising, planning, procurement, or analytical background who can bring structure to complex information and use data to support effective decision-making. Previous jewellery, diamond, or gemstone experience is not essential.

- Ensure priorities and plans are continually updated as business requirements change.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
