HR and Professional Services Category Lead – EMEA
Within the Global Procurement organization delivering for Accenture internal client, the HR and Professional Services Category Lead – EMEA, will be designing, defining, evolving & innovating the HR and Professional Services strategy. Whilst ensuring day to day operations are executed, working closely with Procurement Delivery to execute.
HR and Professional Services has responsibilities of building and maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and support the Regional lead in the regional supplier strategy and the strategic project monitoring.
In addition, HR and Professional Services is responsible to support facilitating global and local strategy, initiatives & implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Management
- Help in setting the Market & MU strategy in alignment with Global strategy
- Support implementation of the Global & Regional HR and Professional Services strategy for EMEA projects and initiatives
- Work in alignment with global/regional Procurement and strategic goals for HR and Professional Services
- Actively participate and present in HR and Professional Services community calls
- Support implementation of a Global V&A Process
- Support implementation of IT Skills knowledge project to EMEA HR and Professional Services aligned Delivery team and HR-PS Teams
- Manage community: Schedule team meetings, encourage synergies & knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with all HR and Professional Services MU Leads or members
- Monitor at a EMEA level of HR and Professional Services contract coverage vs EMEA Spend
- Manage global, regional and pillar specific stakeholder relationships, including demand management, sales/opportunities, analytics and market information
- Leverage industry & market information to inform Accenture’s HR and Professional Services strategy
- Actively participate in innovative initiatives
- Monitor and support high complex work in Delivery
Reporting
- Maintain the established Monthly reporting for the EMEA HR and Professional Services pillar
- Identify suppliers or groups working at a EMEA level to make synergies for all EMEA countries
- Spread a common reporting and analytics basic platform for all metrics currently missing
- Design and develop relevant RFP documents for projects in line with global/regional strategies; when applicable, use e-sourcing & e-auctions tools
- Perform supplier selection and collaborate with EMEA & Global Lead(s) in negotiating commercial proposal with suppliers with a multi-country diffusion

Supplier Management
- Promote greater use of Global or Regional Strategic Providers
- Manage local supplier relationships in line with Global and 360 Value Mgmt. strategy
Global Procurement Process
- When applicable, support development of global end to end procurement process, templates and tools
- Modify the process, as required, to meet unique regional category specific requirements
- Ensure the highest level of compliance with local legislations, regulations and Accenture policies
Team Development & Cohesiveness
- Participate actively in HR and Professional Services Regional & Global sessions and foster team spirit at local level
- Manage MU community: Schedule team meetings, encourage synergies & knowledge sharing – Manager for 7 Market Unit Category Leads – building a strong performing HR & PS MU Category Team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Expert knowledge of the HR and Professional Services industry and commercial models
- Very strong in stakeholder and relationship management as well as supplier management
- Expert in HR and Professional Services management, sourcing as well as project management and planning
- Capacity to forecast Accenture job demand (e.g. AI and related skilled workforce)
- Excellent knowledge of procurement and category strategy development and conveyance
- Proven knowledge in sourcing and procurement methodologies and concepts
- Advanced in analytics and the ability to analyze specifications and influence demand
- Strong capability to independently interact throughout the broader Accenture organization
- Strong analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement tools content and data analysis
- Project and process management knowledge and experience
- Forward, out of the box thinking and an innovative, disruptive and open mindset
- Action oriented and solution minded team player with high degree of self-management
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
Experience & Qualifications
- Deep working experience in HR and Professional Services industry, with a Procurement & ‘Talent’ experience
- Ability to understand client requirements and executing Procurement strategies to meet those requirements
- Extensive experience in sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management
- Good understanding of Procurement processes
- Good understanding of HR and Professional Services industry
- Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders that have resulted in high customer satisfaction
- A master’s degree with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, procurement, talent or comparable professional education
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with a proven multi-year track record in the above areas

Travel & Working Arrangements
- This role may require travel within EMEA and globally.
- The majority of the role is home-based, with three days in the office preferred.
