Procurement Specialist

Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Rate: £260 per day (PAYE) - Approx. £67,600

We are currently partnering with a globally recognised technology and e-commerce leader to hire a Procurement Specialist for their innovative Robotics organisation.

This is a high-impact contract role ideal for an experienced supply chain and procurement professional. You will take ownership of end-to-end procurement processes, manage supplier performance, and implement robust risk mitigation strategies to ensure seamless business continuity.

  • Own end-to-end supply chain management, from placing orders and assessing supplier capacities to resolving delivery challenges and communicating risks.
  • Act as a critical escalation point for materials and service delivery risks, partnering effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with the supply base to monitor, drive, and continuously improve supplier performance.
  • Proactively identify supply chain risks, implement effective mitigation strategies, and communicate potential disruptions to maintain business continuity.
  • Drive overall supply chain delivery performance by owning key metrics, addressing capacity constraints, and influencing stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are placed accurately and on time, securing firm delivery commitments from suppliers.
  • Identify, develop, and implement tools and systems to optimise procurement workflows.
  • Improve existing processes and mechanisms to maximise resource efficiency and value delivery across the Robotics organisation.
