We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Finance Team.

This role will provide day-to-day support to our club colleagues and internal teams, helping to ensure procurement processes run smoothly, efficiently and in line with company policies and controls. The successful candidate will act as an important link between the Procurement team, our clubs, accounts and wider business stakeholders. They will provide hands-on administrative and operational support across procurement activities, supplier management, invoice queries and our ZIP I2P (Procure-to-Pay) system.

Experience working within a Technology procurement/spend category would be beneficial.

The Role

  • Act as a key point of contact for clubs on procurement queries, providing timely, solutions-focused support through to resolution.
  • Support Procurement and Accounts with supplier onboarding, due diligence, invoice queries, purchase orders, and accurate supplier documentation.
  • Provide day-to-day administration and support for the ZIP I2P system, including user queries, troubleshooting, system data, and reporting.
  • Assist with sourcing activities, supplier communications, quotation exercises, procurement projects, spend analysis, and procurement documentation.
  • Partner with Clubs, Accounts, and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activity follows company policies, processes, and controls.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, system efficiency, user experience, and overall team effectiveness.

Essential

  • Experience in a procurement, purchasing, accounts, finance administration or similar operational role.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A customer-focused approach, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues across the business.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with procurement, finance and/or business systems.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting a Technology spend category, including areas such as software, hardware, IT services or telecommunications.
  • Experience working with a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or procurement system.
  • Experience with ZIP or a similar procurement/I2P platform.
  • Experience working with supplier onboarding, due diligence and invoice processes.
  • Previous experience working within a multi-site or decentralised organisation
