We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist on a permanent basis for an expanding business.
Within this role you will provide expert procurement support and advice to public sector customers across the UK allowing them access to a dynamic market of 4000+ pre-approved suppliers across a wide range of categories.
Your role will involve the following:
- Support end to end sourcing and procurement activity
- Engage and build relationships with customers and suppliers
- Support with the creation of Statement of Works
- Monitor procurement activities
- Produce data and management information for service reviews and to quantify outcomes
- Mentor junior team members
- Support with improvements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Hold a degree level qualification
- Qualified in CIPS or working toward would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Procurement experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised
- Strong stakeholder management skills and good at building relationships
- Ability to work at pace and in a fast-changing environment
- Solutions focused
