Procurement Specialist

Sumsub is the first AI-powered trust infrastructure for compliance operations at scale. It connects identity and business verification, fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, and risk workflows, helping teams reduce manual work and enter new markets.

Trusted by over 4,000 clients across financial services, crypto, mobility, trading, marketplaces, education, and iGaming, including Bybit, Bitpanda, Wirex, Avis, Vodafone, Duolingo, Kaizen Gaming, and Bancaribe.

Sumsub is recognized as a Great Place To Work® in the US and rated 4.5 out of 5 on Glassdoor. Our 1,000+ people around the world back it up, too: 92% are proud to be Sumsubers, and 90% say their work is interesting and challenging.

Now we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Finance team.

Our contract approval flow and financial review process are already in place. Now we need someone to fully own this area and focus on it exclusively. Vendors are selected by the teams that need them: Marketing, Product, IT. Your job is to make sure every contract is cost-effective and carries no hidden financial risks for the company. Beyond individual contracts, you will look at our spending as a whole to find where we overpay.

Some numbers and context:

  • around 40 contracts per month;
  • main spend categories: marketing, employee events (meetups and team events), SaaS, and IT services;
  • international vendors, contracts in English, multiple currencies and jurisdictions;
  • tools: DocuSign, NetSuite, Jira (in the near future).

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Review vendor contracts for financial risks: payment terms, auto-renewals, price indexation, penalties, minimum commitments, termination terms, and currency exposure.
  • Negotiate financial terms with vendors: secure discounts, better pricing, extended payment terms, and more flexible conditions.
  • Work within the existing approval flow and keep turnaround times short so that contract review never slows teams down.
  • Analyze company spend by category, identify duplicate tools, unused subscriptions, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Track contract expiry dates and prepare for renewals and renegotiations in advance.
  • Suggest improvements to the approval flow, procurement policy, and spend thresholds.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

About You:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or financial control.
  • Strong analytical skills: confident work with data, building comparison models.
  • Ability to read contracts and spot financial risks that are not obvious at first glance.
  • Experience negotiating with vendors and a track record of delivering cost savings.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher: all contracts and negotiations are in English.
  • Experience working with international vendors across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
  • Use LLMs and AI tools to speed up contract review, spend analysis, and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills: pivot tables, complex formulas, and financial models.

Nice to Have:

  • Procurement experience in an IT company: SaaS subscriptions, IT services, licenses.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, DocuSign, Jira or similar systems.
  • You can say "no" politely but firmly when terms are unfavorable, while remaining a trusted partner to internal teams rather than a bureaucratic roadblock.
  • You can explain financial risks in plain language to people without a finance background.
  • You are genuinely curious about how business costs work and bring ideas on your own initiative.
  • You are comfortable handling a high volume of requests from different teams and switching between them quickly.

What We Offer:

  • Remote-first, trust-based culture. Work from the place that works best for you. No mandatory office days, no attendance trackers. In some locations, we provide offices or coworking spaces, but the choice is yours.
  • True flexibility. We do not fix you to a 9-to-5 schedule. You can adjust your working hours when needed, as long as your day stays productive and in sync with the team.
  • Extra time off. Your birthday is a holiday here. Add to that 10 personal days each year, seven sick days without paperwork, and extra time to enjoy Christmas and New Year. Time to rest is part of the deal.
  • Work that matters. Our mission is to build a digital world that is secure, accessible and inclusive for everyone. From fighting fraud to making online services easier and safer to use, your work will have a real impact on how people experience trust online.
  • Compensation. We offer fair and transparent pay, benchmarked to the market.
  • Truly global. We work across continents and time zones, with teammates and customers from all over the world. You will run campaigns that cross borders, cultures, and languages, and see your ideas land worldwide.
  • Growth built in. Clear goals, open feedback and personal development plans. We support your progress with learning opportunities and by covering role-specific events, from design conferences to marketing forums.
  • Celebrating your big moments. We are proud to support you through life’s biggest journeys with dedicated financial bonuses for both marriage and welcoming a new baby to your family.
  • Team offsites. Sometimes just Slack is not enough. That is why we meet in person a few times a year. Trips are fully covered, so you can meet, collaborate, and recharge together.
  • Getting you set up. We make sure you have access to the tools and hardware you need to do your work well.
  • Friendly by design. Our logo is a dog for a reason. We keep things human, open and kind. We welcome individuality, quirks and different perspectives, because that is what makes our work smarter and more fun.
