Job Description
Role Overview
In this role of Procurement Specialist, Facilities Management & Construction, you drive the Sales Market strategy to secure an efficient, compliant, and future-ready supplier base aligned with Global Construction & Facilities Management standards. You lead sourcing, contracting, supplier performance, and commercial governance to ensure strong partnerships, consistent compliance, and cost-efficient, high-quality operations across markets. With a primary focus on Facilities Management and Construction spend, you support a retail portfolio of 240+ locations across the UK and Ireland, ensuring commercial value, effective supplier governance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the procurement strategy for the Sales Market in close collaboration with Global C&F Strategists and in line with the global C&F strategy and vision.
- Set and follow up on procurement goals and KPIs, ensuring strong supplier performance, effective governance, and continuous improvement.
- Secure an efficient C&F supplier base that enables expansion, FM service delivery, and project execution, while driving optimized investments, running costs, and operational efficiency.
- Provide commercial support and expertise across Facilities Management and Construction contracts, including contract portfolio management, supplier risk, pricing reviews, and cost optimization.
- Review, update, and draft procurement documentation in partnership with Legal, ensuring full alignment with global standards and correct implementation in the Sales Market.
- Implement and reinforce global procurement guidelines, ensuring the Sales Market stays fully compliant with the latest global requirements.
- Support Sales Markets across the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, tenders, negotiations, contractor onboarding, and contract management, ensuring risk is managed and value is delivered.
- Partner closely with Facilities Management Contract Managers and Project Managers on budgets, forecasting, cost analysis, and commercial decision-making, providing challenge, insight, and assurance.
- Support the governance and performance management of integrated FM providers, including performance frameworks, change control processes, and supplier development.
- Plan and secure project delivery capacity through a combination of internal and external resources, supporting the successful execution of the Facilities and Construction project pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with C&F teams and Legal within the Sales Market, as well as with the Global Procurement Strategist.
- Lead or co-lead cross-market procurement activities initiated by Global Procurement Strategists, and support contract management for cross-market agreements.

Who You Are
- Degree in Business Administration, Law, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.
- Experienced within Procurement, Facility Management, Construction, or the built environment.
- Proven in setting up and implementing procurement strategies, with strong procurement, commercial, and negotiation skills.
- Experienced in managing complex contracts, commercial structures, and supplier relationships.
- Strong in financial and cost analysis, with the confidence to challenge suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive value and efficiency.
- Excellent in supplier management, governance, and performance management.
- Analytical, strategic, and methodical in problem solving.
- Experienced in sourcing, tendering, contractor onboarding, and contract management.
- Knowledgeable in pass-through costs, managing agent arrangements, gain share mechanisms, and commercial contract models.
- Familiar with Facilities Management service contracts, construction procurement, and project delivery environments.
- Experienced in energy procurement and working with external consultants and service providers.
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and seniority levels within an international organisation.
- Experienced in a multi-site retail environment or large property portfolio is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, and MS Teams.
