Job Title: Procurement Specialist - IT

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Procurement Specialist - IT into their growing procurement and sourcing function.
This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional to take ownership of a varied portfolio of strategic sourcing activity, working closely with senior stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost efficiencies, commercial value and effective risk management.
The role will have significant exposure to complex sourcing projects, supplier negotiations and contract renewals, with the opportunity to work within the IT category including across Software, Professional Services, Networks, Digital, Cloud, and SaaS.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of category and sub-category strategies.
- Lead and support end-to-end sourcing activity, including RFPs, competitive tendering, renewals and commercial negotiations.
- Manage relationships and performance across a portfolio of suppliers.
- Review and renegotiate existing supplier contracts.
- Analyse spend trends and market opportunities to support sourcing strategies and decision-making.

Experience & Requirements
- Experience within procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
- Experience developing or delivering category or sub-category strategies.
- Exposure to the IT category including Software, Professional Services, Networks, Digital, Cloud, and SaaS.
- Confident leading competitive sourcing exercises, market analysis and negotiations.
- Excellent commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
