Procurement Systems & Digitisation Manager

Are you passionate about transforming Procurement through systems, data, and digitalisation? ASSA ABLOY is looking for a Procurement Systems & Digitisation Manager to own and develop the Group Procurement application landscape and drive key digitalisation initiatives across the organization.

This is an ASSA ABLOY Group role responsible for ensuring that Procurement applications, governance frameworks, and data foundations support current business needs while enabling future development. The role is organizationally part of Procurement Excellence within ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions EMEIA Division and reports to the Director & Head of Procurement Excellence EMEIA.

As the business owner and subject matter expert for key Procurement applications, you will work closely with divisional Procurement teams, super users, IT, and external solution providers to develop future system capabilities, improve governance and data quality, and deliver projects that support Procurement excellence globally.

What you will do

Own and develop the Group Procurement application landscape

  • Act as business owner for key Group Procurement applications, including:

    • Spend & Performance Management
    • Savings Management
    • Contract Repository
    • eRFx solutions
  • Develop and maintain the Procurement systems roadmap aligned with business priorities and future requirements.

  • Consolidate, align, and prioritize development requests from divisions and stakeholders.

  • Ensure applications remain fit for purpose and support evolving Procurement processes and business needs.

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement system enhancements, upgrades, or replacement solutions where needed.

  • Manage the Procurement applications budget.

Manage data governance and super user forums

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Group Procurement applications.
  • Support and guide divisional super users globally.
  • Establish and maintain documented data definitions, governance principles, business rules, and user guides.
  • Define and implement robust master data structures for organization, category, and supplier data to enable future application development and integration.
  • Lead Procurement Systems Forums focused on governance, roadmap alignment, continuous improvement initiatives, and larger development projects.
  • Ensure system changes, business requirements, and development priorities are agreed and aligned across divisions.

Lead projects and system implementations

  • Lead Procurement systems projects from business case and aligning requirements definition with divisions through implementation and user adoption.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with internal IT teams and external solution providers to deliver agreed solutions.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Drive project execution and ensure delivery against agreed scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Perform first-level business testing to validate functionality and identify issues before broader divisional super user testing.
  • Coordinate divisional super user acceptance testing, consolidate feedback, and ensure identified issues are resolved and closed.

Drive Procurement digitisation and automation

  • Develop and implement automated data quality controls and governance processes within the Spend & Performance Management application to improve data quality, reliability, and consistency, while reducing manual work.
  • Lead pilot project to automate Procurement reporting and improve transparency through stronger transactional and master data structures.
  • Lead pilot initiatives focused on Procure-to-Pay automation and process efficiency improvements.
  • Assess how AI and emerging technologies can be applied to identify business improvement opportunities, improve insight generation, and reduce manual effort.
  • Drive successful pilot implementations and support scaling of proven solutions across the organization.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Significant experience within strategic procurement, procurement excellence, procurement systems, or a related function.
  • Strong understanding of Procurement processes, systems, and data structures.
  • Experience in owning, developing, or managing business applications.
  • Proven project management experience, including requirements definition, stakeholder management, testing, and implementation.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to understand large datasets, data logic, and system architecture.
  • Experience translating business requirements into practical, scalable system solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and organizational levels in a decentralized international environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
