Procurement and Contract Management Business Partner
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Procurement team as a Procurement and Contract Management Business Partner. This is a varied role within a small, vital team, supporting effective procurement activity, supplier relationship management and contract management across SRA.
You will work closely with internal customers and suppliers to make sure procurement activity is well planned and delivered in line with business needs/practice. You will also manage supplier performance, maintain accurate contract information and provide clear advice to colleagues on procurement and contractual matters.
You will have experience of procurement, supplier management or contract management, with the ability to balance commercial considerations, risk and customer needs. You will be organised, assured working with stakeholders and able to explain procurement and contractual information clearly to a range of parties.

- Manage timely contract reviews and continued delivery of quality goods and services
- Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance and support supplier exit, service transition and decommissioning activity where required
- Assess internal customer requirements and provide procurement advice, including guidance on commercial and risk implications.
- Recommend best purchasing practices that meet SRA's needs

What we're looking for
- Experience in procurement, contract management or supplier relationship management
- A good understanding of purchasing processes, tendering activity and contract lifecycle management
- Robust stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with colleagues and suppliers at different levels
- The ability to research, assess requirements, identify/solve risks and provide clear, practical procurement advice
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, contract information and emails
- A collaborative approach, with a focus on continuous improvement, value for money and quality service delivery
- Ability to scrutinise and interpret complex issues and present them in a clear and concise written form.

- We are recruiting for this role in our Birmingham office on a hybrid basis. The expectation is one to two days a week in the office and the remainder of the week from home
