About the Role
Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for a Produce Manager at our North SF Bay locations. The perfect candidate will be customer service driven and be flexible working various tasks from day to day.

Essential Functions
- Ensure freshness and quality of product upon delivery and restocking
- Monitor and maintain proper rotation of all fresh product
- Update and maintain product signage and department appearance
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Manages the department inventories by tracking weekly sales and reports
- Manage produce department employees, train and develop, and assist in the hiring process for new candidates
- Control department expenses by improving operation and efficiencies, by controlling labor costs and reducing losses due to shrinkage
- Ensure that employees work and operate equipment in a safe manner at all times and comply with all requirements and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in Produce department
- At least 1-2 years management experience
- A passion for unique, fresh food and a team-centered attitude
- Ability to identify quality or freshness of produce by sight or smell
- Experience in executing goals, effectively creating change and increasing efficiency in a positive work environment
- Available to work a flexible shift, including some evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Able to travel to multiple locations within Marin

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.

Salary range:
$30.66 - 31.32/hour depending on industry experience
