A Hybrid working model

We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.

What does a Producer do at WPP Production?

We are looking for an ambitious, craft-driven Midweight Producer to join our Production team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

In this role, you’ll champion craft, solve complex creative puzzles, and turn big ideas into standout integrated campaigns. You possess the autonomy to lead mid-to-large-scale productions independently, while collaborating with Senior and Lead Producers on complex, multi-touchpoint global projects.

If you are obsessed with culture and creative excellence, commercially sharp, and passionate about bringing groundbreaking ideas to life across traditional and emerging channels, this role is for you.

The Role

Day-to-day, you’ll be leading on:

  • Collaborating with Creative Directors, Copywriters, and Art Directors from early concepting. Bringing a solution-oriented "how we can make this extraordinary" mindset, elevating scripts and creative concepts into feasible, high-craft executions across film, stills, audio, social, content, and emerging tech.
  • Curating world-class, diverse talent. Sourcing and building shortlists for directors, photographers, animators, sound designers, CGI artists, and emerging digital creators who align with the agency's ambition for inclusion and innovation.
  • Owning your production pipeline from brief through to final master delivery. Planning and facilitating pre-production meetings (PPMs), leading shoot logistics (on-set or remote), managing post-production workflows, and ensuring flawless technical delivery.
  • Navigating production deadlines, and shifting scopes with calm authority and quick creative troubleshooting.
  • Building, managing, and reconciling detailed production budgets. From running triple-bidding processes to negotiating third-party vendor fees, and ensuring financial accuracy and agency profitability.
  • Monitoring project milestones proactively. Identifying budget or timing drifts early and implementing clear solutions before they impact delivery or margin.
  • Giving a reassuring voice of production in front of clients. Presenting production plans, schedules, and budgets clearly, instilling confidence at every stage.
  • Working hand-in-hand with Account Management, Strategy, Business Affairs, and Resource Management to keep integrated campaign work streams aligned.
  • Leading sustainable production standards on every job, utilising AdGreen carbon calculations and environmentally responsible production practices.
  • Managing project governance, supporting with legal/talent clearances, and ensuring all project assets and documentation are stored securely & correctly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
