Your Role

In The Role Of Technology Lead, Your Responsibilities Include

  • In the role of Technology Lead, with your technical capability you will interface with key stakeholders, including directly interacting with different Stress Specialists.
  • You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Stress engineers, driving technical delivery excellence, enabling collaboration across functions, and ensuring that outputs meet customer expectations for quality, safety, cost and schedule.
  • You will play an important role in steering high-level Stress Analysis Tasks, mentoring Stress Engineers, managing priorities, supporting stakeholder governance and enabling successful delivery through a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
  • You will also deliver high-quality deliverables, peer reviews to ensure that team meets customer requirements

Required

  • Should have many years of working experience on Turbomachinery components like Gas Turbine for Power and/or Aviation industry.
  • Understanding of aero engine modules such as Rotative, Compressors, Turbines, Combustors, Structures & Casings.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the projects & are on target.
  • Capture requirements/scope from customer.
  • Sound knowledge of Aero Engine Component Design, Analysis and Non-Conformance Assessment Process.
  • Hands on experience in structural stress and vibration analysis of aero engine components (Ex: Rotors, Stators, Bladed Disk, Structures & Casings, Turbines – Cyclic and non-cyclic).
  • Hands on experience in 2D and 3D stress and vibration analysis using FEA tools like Ansys Classic/Workbench, Abaqus and SC03.
  • Knowledge required in LCF, HCF and Weld fatigue analysis.
  • Ability to work on DOE, RCA and field failure analysis independently and guiding Team members as and when required.
  • Experience on work on Damage Tolerance Analysis and Fracture mechanics.
