BusinessPort are seeking a delivery-focused Product Analyst to act as the operational hub of the technical delivery team. Working closely with the Technical Director, you will keep development moving smoothly by translating high-level requirements into clear, actionable work and coordinate the team’s focus to maintain momentum.
The success of this technical business analyst role depends on clear communication, technical fluency, and strong coordination capabilities.

- Serve as internal Technical Business Analyst by gathering, clarifying, and drafting detailed specifications and user stories for new features and/or changes to the software
- Act as functional lead for the Dev & Test team by coordinating day-to-day activities as required, in line with direction set by the Technical Director
- Work closely with the Technical Lead and Senior Developer to ensure specifications are understood, feasible, and correctly translated into development work
- Coordinate release planning and delivery timelines in conjunction with the Dev & Test Team
- Carry out research and investigative work at the request of the Technical Director to support strategic or technical decision-making
- Support the Technical Director in vendor and client interactions as required

Required qualifications/skills:
- Experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar Technical Analyst role within a software company
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate topics and report findings clearly
- Ability to write clear technical specifications and user stories
- Strong coordination and prioritisation skills; comfortable operating as a hub between teams without formal management authority
- Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences
