Job Description Summary

We are the Cards Product Development and Partnerships team which is shaping the future of credit cards - building innovative products, launching partnerships like co-brand cards, and working closely with global networks like Visa and Mastercard. We own new propositions and partnerships from idea to launch, balancing commercial performance with great customer outcomes.
Reporting to the Analytics Manager, this role focuses on delivering insight and analytics, to help the Credit Card product function understand customer needs, behaviours, product performance and deliver against financial plans, whilst playing a pivotal role in our innovation agenda. Working closely with the credit cards commercial team and platforms as well as across key functional teams including Affordability, Customer Propositions, Everyday Banking, Customer Insights and Credit Risk, you'll play a pivotal role in our innovation agenda.

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days per week) in one of our office sites mentioned above

Operating in a fast-paced, data-led environment, you’ll work across the full product lifecycle—from concept through to launch—helping to bring new propositions to life. You’ll play a key role in understanding customer behaviour, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring that our products deliver the right balance of value for customers and strong commercial performance.
Working closely with colleagues across product, commercial, credit risk and customer insight teams, you’ll be at the centre of collaboration and innovation. It’s a role with real visibility, where your insights will directly shape decision-making and support our ambition to evolve and grow our credit cards business.
Essential requirements
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with experience interpreting complex datasets
- 2+ years hands-on experience with SQL and/or SAS in a commercial environment
- Experience using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Proven ability to turn data into clear insights and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
- Experience influencing decisions and building consensus through strong communication skills
Desirable skills/experience
- Experience working with credit cards, consumer lending or financial services products
- Exposure to partnerships, co-branded or affinity propositions
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or working within data-led product teams
