Windsor, UK | Hybrid 3 days in office / 2 days from home | Full-time, permanent

Whether you’re leading at scale or ready to take on your next defining challenge, you’ll find support, purpose and the scope to make a real impact at IHG Hotels & Resorts. Across every stage of your career, there’s Room for You.

We’re looking for a practical, systems-minded Workforce Optimisation specialist to help build, configure and support our Workforce Management systems across EMEAA hotels. Working as part of the Product Team, you’ll help ensure hotels have the right set-up, workflows, reporting and support to use UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and related tools confidently and consistently.

This is a hands-on role, working closely with hotels, Workforce Optimisation Managers, programme teams and system specialists to resolve issues, improving adoption and turning complex processes into simple, useful operational support.

Your day-to-day

  • Support and configure workforce scheduling systems across EMEAA.
  • Manage system updates linked to scheduling rules, labour law, payroll and contract changes.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support resolution through ServiceNow and partner channels.
  • Work with HR, finance, payroll, operations and hotel teams to ensure accurate system outputs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across our workforce optimisation systems.

What we need from you

  • Experience supporting or configuring workforce scheduling, payroll, or operational systems.
  • Experience with UKG / Kronos, multi-site operations or payroll systems would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand how system changes impact operations and payroll.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A detail-focused, collaborative approach and resilience to manage competing priorities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
