Product Architect, Oneview Engineering
Since our founding in 1996, Numerix has been at the vanguard of financial technology, providing quantitative analytics and software that redefine pricing and risk management across the financial markets. Through recent strategic acquisitions, Numerix has further strengthened its leadership position, empowering financial institutions worldwide to transform risk into opportunity with confidence. As AI reshapes capital markets technology, Numerix is focused on combining the speed and flexibility of AI with the deterministic, auditable, and governed calculations that financial institutions require.
The Product Architect, Oneview Engineering will work within the Product & Engineering organization to help develop the next generation of front-to-risk solution offerings for the financial markets industry.
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, Oneview, this is a senior individual contributor role that serves as a trusted partner to Engineering leadership, driving solution design quality, cross-functional alignment, and development readiness across the Oneview platform.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management, Business Analysts, Development Leads, and Software Architects to translate business and product requirements into clear, end-to-end solution designs.
- Decompose complex features and workflows into implementable solutions, identifying business rules, dependencies, edge cases, cross-functional impacts, and delivery risks.
- Drive development readiness by reviewing and refining requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and related artifacts before they enter Engineering execution.
- Produce logical solution designs, workflow definitions, dependency maps, interface specifications, and other design artifacts that guide implementation using prototypes, examples, scripts, or mockups where.
- Serve as a steward of Oneview's product architecture, ensuring solutions are placed in the appropriate layer, ownership and system boundaries remain clear, APIs and integration interfaces are thoughtfully designed, and capabilities are reusable, scalable, and consistent across the platform.
- Evaluate the impact of proposed solutions across data models, analytics, workflows, integrations, deployment architecture, upgrade paths, operational processes, and future platform evolution.
- Identify and address non-functional requirements, including scalability, performance, maintainability, configurability, backward compatibility, SaaS readiness, and operational supportability.
- Work across Oneview modules and related Numerix products to ensure solutions are optimized from an end-to-end product perspective rather than a single-team or single-module perspective.
- Facilitate design discussions and decision-making across Product, Financial Engineering, Architecture, and Engineering teams, reducing ambiguity and accelerating execution.
- Influence and help shape Oneview's AI strategy by evaluating emerging AI capabilities, defining how AI should be incorporated into product workflows and platform services, and ensuring AI-driven solutions align with business needs, product architecture, and long-term platform direction.
- Stay current with Oneview architecture, Numerix products, financial market workflows, and emerging technology trends relevant to the platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
