What's the Job?

As a Product Assistant in our Kitchens category you will help develop innovation in Own Exclusive Brands (OEB), be more agile in new product development and be more impactful on performance

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, collect and centralise the data and actions in relation to my range category within the timescales
  • Analyse current OEB product and customer trends/data
  • Advise and bring quick solutions to stakeholders to optimise category performance and execution
  • Act as key contact for the category, communicating across the wider matrix team and across the Banners
  • Optimise ways of working to improve the workflow within the category

What You'll Bring

Commercial and Customer Insight

  • Knows how the work of O&S contributes to KF strategy and understands the O&S and Banner priorities
  • Knows the global and market sales channels and performance of KF products for their product area and how this impacts product and range decisions
  • Applies customer insight to make recommendations for product and range decisions

Build OEB Strategy

  • Understands the OEB strategy
  • Has a high-level view of product performance and trends within the category

Plan and Execute OEB Range

  • Understands the different stages/processes within range development and execution
  • Knows how to build trust with colleagues
  • Knows what is important to our customer when making product choices (price, value etc) and how this is embedded in the KF design principles

Industry and Product Knowledge

  • Knows what OEB products KF has in each Category and their key features
  • Keeps up to date with general product and retail trends
