Job Title: Product Assistant
Reports To: Production & Operations Manager / Product Development Manager
Employment Type: 5 days per week, 9.30am – 5.30pm, Monday–Friday
Location: Head Office @ Shoreditch, London, UK.

Job Role
The Product Assistant plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end product lifecycle, from development and sampling through to bulk production, while also assisting with wholesale operations. This role ensures smooth operational flow, accurate data, and timely communication across teams, while developing technical skills and gaining exposure to the business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Development
- Create and maintain the supplier’s database
- Support in gathering raw material information at the beginning of the season
- Create and maintain the raw material seasonal database
- Update raw material information on Zedonk
- Use the Book-in Module to record shipments on Zedonk
- Check invoice costs against Zedonk costs
- Assist in creating the seasonal fabric book
- Organise shipments with correct supporting documentation (references and samples)
- Check BOMs (RM and Labels) and tech packs to ensure all information is correct and consistent.
- Support during fittings (taking notes, pinning, and preparing samples for manufacturers)
- Measure garments (shipment samples and QC)
- Perform ad hoc product research

Production
- Create and maintain the manufacturers database
- Update price changes (BOMs and Zedonk) and inform the team accordingly
- Use the Book-in Module to record shipments on Zedonk
- Check invoice costs against Zedonk costs
- Monitor bulk deliveries and inform the team of any issues.
- Assist in gathering production documentation (packing lists, QC requests...)
- Maintain the labels and trim inventory (office and manufacturer)
- Send labels and trims to suppliers
- Support in the creation of EOS leftover raw material file
- Organise shipments with correct supporting documentation (bulk)
- Create ASN and SRN, and follow up with the warehouse
- Create and update the product delivery tracker
- Create and update the deliveries tracker
- Perform ad hoc product and supplier research

Wholesale
- Create and maintain the customers database
- Process wholesale, staff, press and gifting orders on Zedonk
- Double-check stock availability at the warehouse
- Process Pick Tickets (Zedonk to Airbox)
- Organise shipments with correct supporting documentation (customer orders)
- Assist with customers queries
- Support during trade shows and sample sales
Person Specification
Attitude, Skills & Knowledge
Essential:
- Strong organisational and data management skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite
- Basic understanding of garment construction
Desirable:
- Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g. Zedonk)

- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the business
