About the Role
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Product Assurance Engineer to become the technical authority for Product Assurance across the business.
Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Manager, you will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Project teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and compliance throughout the engineering lifecycle.
You will have the authority to chair, approve and reject Gate Review submissions, conduct audits, influence engineering decisions and drive continuous improvement across product quality and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Product Assurance activities throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Chair, review and approve Gate Reviews.
- Conduct internal audits across Product Lifecycle, Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Review project documentation and product compliance.
- Investigate defects, identify root causes and recommend improvements.
- Participate in Configuration Review Boards and support product certification, including CE, RoHS and REACH.
- Work collaboratively across Engineering, Manufacturing and Project teams to improve product quality, reliability and compliance.

Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in Product Assurance or Quality Assurance within a regulated engineering environment.
- Internal auditing experience within an ISO 9001 (or similar) organisation.
- A strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle and product development processes.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Experience gained within electronics, defence, aerospace, medical devices or other regulated engineering sectors will all be considered.
Additional Information
Please note: This role is subject to successful completion of BPSS clearance prior to commencement.
