Hybrid – London, UK

Reporting – Product Lead

Basic £50-60,000 depending on level and experience, bonus and benefits

At Azur Technology, we’re redefining the insurance industry with powerful, AI-driven SaaS products for MGAs. We’re not your typical consultants — we work closely with our clients as an embedded product team, developing long-lasting and trusted partnerships. We’re currently 90+ people strong and have clear plans to scale the business. We play in the Salesforce stack. We configure where we can, but when we need to build, design, and communicate complex systems, we do. Whatever we do, we want to do it better.

We are now looking for a Product Builder to join our Product team at Azur Technology. You’ll report to our Product Lead and work at the intersection of engineering, product, and the insurance business itself. The role is hybrid, requiring semi-regular office days in London.

The Role

Your job is to turn ideas into working software that MGAs actually use. You’ll take a problem – often loosely defined, often straight out of a client conversation – and build it into a capability inside MGA Connect. Sometimes that means prototyping two or three approaches to find the right answer quickly. Sometimes it means building the thing properly so it can ship to every MGA on the platform. You own that whole arc, from concept to something real.

This isn’t a ticket-driven role. You’ll take features end-to-end, from framing the problem with the Product Lead through to design, build, and release. That means getting close to the people who use the product. Underwriters, brokers, and operations teams will tell you what actually slows them down, and the best decisions we make come from engineers who have watched the workflow rather than read a summary of it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

How We Expect You to Work

You should be using AI tools properly. Not just autocomplete or code suggestions, but using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar to explore architecture options, scaffold entire projects, and move faster than a traditional dev workflow allows. You focus on the logic, the UX, and the system design. The tools handle the boilerplate.

We’re not looking for someone who pastes AI output without understanding it. You need the judgment to know what to accept, what to rewrite, and when the AI is confidently wrong.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Design and ship features across MGA Connect, spanning policy lifecycle, submissions and quotes, renewals, claims, billing, and reporting.
  • Prototype fast when the right answer isn’t obvious, then build the version that lasts.
  • Work with our client-facing teams to turn recurring requests into product, rather than one-off configuration for a single MGA.
  • Wire up APIs, data models, and integrations that connect MGA Connect to the rest of an MGA’s world.
  • Act as a technical sounding board when the team has half-formed ideas.
  • When someone has a crazy idea, you tell them how to build 80% of it in 20% of the time.

We’re a Salesforce shop, and MGA Connect is built on the Salesforce platform, so most of what you ship lands there. You can prototype in whatever stack gets you to an answer fastest (React, Node, Python, serverless, whatever works), but production work needs to live where the platform lives. Bear in mind that what you build is multi-tenant. It has to hold up for an MGA writing high-net-worth home in London and one writing commercial lines in Texas.

Why This Role

MGA Connect is the product, so what you build gets used every day by MGAs to quote, bind, and manage real business. It also shows up in every deal we win. You get real autonomy and a short path from idea to production. No six-month roadmaps, no death by committee, no waiting around for approval. If you want to see your work actually matter, this is that kind of role.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years building technical products, tools & prototypes and ideally shipping production code.
  • You’ve spun up projects independently, not just contributed to existing codebases.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. You don’t need detailed requirements to get started.
  • Genuine experience with AI coding tools, not just curiosity about them.
  • Product-minded: you care more about whether something works for users than whether the code is elegant.
  • Curious about how the whole machine works.
  • You want to understand the insurance business you’re building for, not just the codebase.

Bonus if you’ve worked on the Salesforce platform or with its APIs, have InsurTech or B2B SaaS experience, or have played with MCP servers, agentic workflows, or tools like Lovable.
