Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Product Category Manager to join our growing Product Management department at an exciting time for Hyundai Motor UK. Hyundai has achieved a strong market position with a competitive product portfolio that has been fully renewed, positioning the brand as a leader in electric mobility and a key player in the UK automotive market. With a commitment to sustainable growth, Hyundai continues to be recognised for its innovation, quality, and advanced technology across multiple segments. The successful candidate will have experience managing product portfolios, with a sharp commercial mindset to focus on driving profitability, maximising sales volume, and improving market competitiveness for specific products within the portfolio.

This role will be responsible for managing a subset of products within the Hyundai UK product portfolio alongside other Product Category Managers, each contributing to the broader product strategy and ensuring commercial goals are met within their designated categories. The role will also involve line management responsibilities for one Product Analyst, supporting team development and achieving key objectives.

The role is also responsible for managing vehicle product planning and development across the assigned portfolio to support achievement of Hyundai’s Long Range Plan objectives. This includes planning pricing, specification, volume and product mix throughout the lifecycle to optimise contribution margin; delivering annual volume and profitability targets; coordinating cross-functional new product launches; steering production orders to manage stock effectively; and ensuring the successful run-out of existing models and introduction of new models, including evaluating appropriate sell-out incentives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
