Fixed Term Appointment Opportunity

This is a Fixed Term Appointment opportunity for 23 months with the possibility of permanency dependent on business requirements.

Are you highly organised, proactive and skilled at coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders? We are looking for two Product Coordinators to join Social Security Scotland and support the successful delivery of key programmes that contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

These roles, within the Fraud, Error and Debt teams, offer an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced delivery environment, supporting product and project teams to plan and coordinate activities, maintain delivery information and ensure programme governance requirements are met. You will play an important role in helping teams deliver outcomes that support both organisational priorities and service users across Scotland.

You will join a team responsible for delivering complex business and technology change initiatives that support Social Security Scotland's strategic objectives. Working closely with Product Leads, delivery specialists, business stakeholders and technical teams, you will help coordinate delivery activity throughout the product lifecycle.

As a Product Coordinator, you will provide essential support across planning, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement and delivery coordination, helping to ensure programmes remain organised, informed and on track to achieve their objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of product and project activities.
  • Support the delivery manager in maintaining delivery plans, schedules and tracking information, monitoring progress and highlighting any emerging issues.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and governance activities, ensuring actions and decisions are accurately recorded and followed up.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation, reports, presentations, shared knowledge repositories and management information.
  • Maintain team spaces (e.g. Confluence)
  • Manage and maintain key logs, including risks, issues, actions, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring timely communication and information sharing across delivery teams and wider business areas.
  • Assist with the preparation of governance papers, status reports and briefing materials.
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams during design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation activities.
  • Monitor and track delivery milestones, escalating concerns where appropriate.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, coordination and reporting arrangements.
  • Ensure information is managed accurately and in line with organisational standards and governance requirements.

  3. Experience of maintaining accurate records, reports and delivery documentation, and supporting governance processes through the preparation of papers, updates and management information.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
