PolyAI is the Agentic Dialog Platform for building the conversational enterprise, used to build, run, govern, and improve dialog agents at scale. Powered by Raven, a proprietary dialog model trained on more than a billion enterprise conversations, PolyAI agents are built for complexity, open at every layer, and sovereign by design. PolyAI serves hundreds of enterprises across 75 languages and 25 countries, including Metro Bank, Marriott, PG&E, and UniCredit.

We're looking for a Product Communications Lead to own how PolyAI's product story reaches the market. Voice AI is one of the most crowded and most overclaimed categories in enterprise software right now. Your job is to make it obvious what PolyAI actually does, why it works in production, and why it's different from the demos everyone else is shipping.

You'll build and run product communications across our core audiences: enterprise buyers (CX, contact centre and digital leaders in the Fortune 500), the technical and operator community who evaluate and deploy conversational AI, and the broader market of analysts, press and practitioners forming a view on where voice AI is going. You'll lead launches, shape product narratives, and turn genuinely hard technical work — latency, barge-in, ASR accuracy in the wild, agentic tool use over live systems — into stories that land with people who buy and people who build.

This is a hands-on role. You'll write, you'll brief, you'll sit in on product reviews, and you'll ship. It's also a foundational one: product comms doesn't exist as a discrete function here yet, and you'll define it, with room to build a team as it proves out.

You'll report to the Head of Brand, Global Web & Content Studio and partner closely with product, marketing, sales, and our leadership team.

What You'll Do

  • Define PolyAI's product communications strategy — the messaging architecture, proof points and narrative arc that connect what we ship to what enterprise buyers care about
  • Lead product launches and feature announcements end to end: positioning, press, launch assets, internal enablement, and the follow-through that turns a launch into pipeline
  • Partner with product and engineering to translate technical capability into claims we can defend, and to kill the ones we can't
  • Own the customer proof engine — case studies, deployment stories, and measurable outcomes from live production traffic
  • Run analyst and press relations for product: brief Gartner, Forrester and Opus-type analysts, and build relationships with the reporters covering enterprise AI and CX
  • Build enterprise-grade materials for C-suite and technical buyers covering capability, security, compliance and business case
  • Engage the technical and operator community through docs narratives, developer-facing content, and honest, specific storytelling about how the product works
  • Create messaging frameworks that hold up across sales, marketing, support and exec communication
  • Coach product leaders and subject matter experts to be credible external voices
  • Keep a sharp eye on the competitive landscape and make fast, well-judged calls on where and how we differentiate

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You may be a good fit if you

  • Have 8+ years in product communications, product marketing or comms at technology companies, ideally including enterprise SaaS or AI/ML products
  • Have run launches for technical products sold to large enterprises, with a track record you can point to
  • Can hold your own in a conversation with an engineer and then explain the same thing to a CFO without losing either of them
  • Write exceptionally well — clear, specific, unfussy, no filler
  • Have built something from scratch before and prefer that to inheriting a machine
  • Understand how enterprise buyers actually evaluate AI vendors: the procurement cycle, the security review, the bake-off, the pilot that has to work
  • Have strong analyst and media relationships in enterprise tech, or the instincts to build them fast
  • Are high agency and low ego, comfortable moving between strategy and execution in the same afternoon
  • Bring epistemic humility to a category full of overclaiming — you'd rather be precise than loud
  • Are genuinely curious about what these systems can and can't do
